Allergy Shots are not available.                                                                                                           

Walk-ins are available Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., for active duty service members and beneficiaries being seen inside the clinic with same-day appointments. 
Closed noon - 1 p.m. daily.            
TB Skin Test Readings may walk in Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays, 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; closed noon - 1 p.m. daily. 
All immunization patients will need to check-in at the Primary Care Clinic front desk.

A valid military ID card is required for all visits. 

The influenza vaccination is administered on a seasonal basis. Please contact our clinic for more details.

Active duty soldiers scheduled to PCS to OCONUS assignments and those deploying overseas require a DA 4036-R from their unit. Vaccinations cannot be given without this form.

Alabama Blue Cards are issued in this clinic. Please bring all immunization records with you when you request the Blue Card. Alabama Blue Card requests may require a 72-hour turnaround time, depending on the current clinic workload.

Influenza Vaccine 

Active Duty Service Members

Active duty, National Guard, and Reserve members are required to get the flu vaccine.

When you get a flu vaccine from anywhere besides Lyster Army Health Clinic, follow your service policy guidance for recording the vaccine in your shot record. You'll need the following information:
  • The date the vaccine was administered
  • The vaccine name or code
  • Manufacturer
  • Lot number

The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against the potentially serious outcomes of COVID-19 illness.
