Sergeant Major
Sergeant Major (SGM) Greene was born in Staten Island, New York. After serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kazakhstan, she enlisted in the United States Army in 2004. SGM Greene attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC followed by Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, TX, where she was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty of 68W, Combat Medic Specialist.
SGM Greene’s previous assignments include Assistant Inspector General, Fort Detrick, MD; First Sergeant, 601st Medical Company (Area Support) (MCAS) and NCOIC, Medical Operations, 261st MMB, Fort Liberty, NC; NCOIC, Department of Primary Care, William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX; Operations NCO, USA Defense Attaché Office, Ghana; Platoon Sergeant and Detachment Sergeant, 212th Medical Detachment (COSC), Fort Campbell, KY; Squad Leader, 501st MCAS, Fort Campbell, KY; Occupational Therapy Sergeant, USA MEDDAC, Fort Jackson, SC; and Emergency Care Specialist; HSB 1st BN 78 FA, Fort Sill, OK.
SGM Greene’s military education includes the Sergeants Major Course, Inspector General Basic Course, Company Commander First Sergeant Pre-command Course, Practice Manager Course, Basic Healthcare Administration Course, Attaché Staff Operations Course, Combat and Operational Stress Control Course, Unit Prevention Leader Course, Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Foundation Course, Modern Army Combative Level 1 Course, and the Occupational Therapy Specialty Course. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Workforce Development from the Command and General Staff College. She holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology: Biosecurity and Biodefense from the University of Maryland University College and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.

She is also the recipient of the Order of Military Medical Merit.
