TRICARE Open Season begins today, Nov. 10! Starting today, you have the opportunity to make changes to your TRICARE plan. This year’s open season lasts through Tuesday, Dec. 9. This is your annual chance to sign up for a health plan or change your coverage. Any changes you make will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2026.

As 2025 comes to a close, now is the time to start thinking about your family’s health care options for next year. You should know that your TRICARE health plan costs will change starting Jan. 1, 2026. Depending on your plan, these costs may include enrollment fees, premiums, cost-shares, and copayments.

Lyster Army Health Clinic opened the hangar doors at Yano Hall to welcome Retired Soldiers for Life and their families to the annual Fort Novosel Retiree Health Fair during Retiree Appreciation Day events on Friday, October 25. Over 245 retirees took advantage of the health and wellness activities, and booth displays.

Lyster Army Health Clinic hosted a health and wellness fair on July 11, 2024, in celebration of Brig. Gen. Theodore Lyster’s 149th birthday, the clinic’s namesake. The day provided patients and staff an educational and interactive event that focused on preventive health and wellness information. Booths offered help with nutritional goals, mental health, preventive screenings, plus a myriad of other wellness resources.
